Shopify website design and brand tweak completed for this fun, positive Red Deer Alberta based business (May 2020)

What a fun project this was! The lovely Paula came to me as a referral through Penny of Rootology Wellness Therapy. Not only was Paula relaxed and sweet as pie, but a genuine pleasure to work with.

Penny didn't want anything resembling a stereotypical "tree" logo. Considering her business's name + her love for nature, I decided to play with various types of foliage instead. This created the feeling of growth and renewal while keeping her logo unique + one of a kind. ⁠

This project was one of the most important projects I’ve had so far.

It was about sharing knowledge.
It was about giving back.
It was about Legacy.

When building HaleyRae’s website, my main focus was organizing her content so it was easy to navigate. This gal has SO MUCH GOING ON. From acting to hosting to performing as a Disney princess and more, saying HaleyRae is “busy” is an understatement. Figuring out a way to showcase all of these talents was tricky but I was up for the challenge. Take a look below for a peaky at how it turned out.

Nick was an excellent client. He really put his brand in my hands and gave me full control. This of course had it's challenges but overall it was a designers dream to do whatever I wanted.

Even though Heelerz has a close personal connection, I am still ridiculously proud of this project.

If you haven't guessed it yet, This project changed my life. It taught me that I am capable of SO much. It reminded me that I am a researcher, a learner, insatiably curious. It inspired me to make a career out of web design and branding.

As creatives, we all have those projects that stand out to us. The milestones. The game changers.

This project was one of those.
